Intimate Paths

Returning to my hometown, I had to face the various aspects of the past.

Being in the countryside, started spending time at my “secret” places, the ones
which deep in my recollection were full of scents, sounds and beloved creatures .
A cathartic exploration of my beautiful surrounding.

Again.

Only then,I realised I was attracted by the time that everything is serene and
somehow strange.

Seduced by total darkness, obsessed with the forms that light can reveal, I
started creating a world between reality and fiction, dreams and
nightmares ,between past and present.

Through distortion, there comes clarity and through abandonment, I try to
share the feeling of being there, seeing and experiencing my intimate paths.

Kosmas Iliadis was born in northern Greece in 1991.

While he was studying economics,he realised that he was spending most of his time experimenting with photography. In 2014 he started taking seminars to 'Stereosis Photography Center' in Thessaloniki and had his first contact with analog photography. In 2019 he graduated from 'Stereosis" and was part of 'Logline' photo zine .

His work 'Intimate Paths' has been featured in on-line and printed publications and has been showcased in various group exhibitions and international festivals.
