Everything Went Dark

Based on childhood experiences in her hometown, Kristina Sergeeva develops a visual analysis around memory, time and nostalgia. Kristina returned back to her village to find that something was wrong. Everything Went Dark pictures an alternative perspective of a place that it used to be familiar and its significance has changed. Idealisation and security vanished, and just memories have persisted.
