If we analyse these images, we see how the attitudes of the subjects are related to those that religion has imposed on womxn, such as purity, chastity and modesty, with the aim of repressing them and keeping them under control.

The characters photographed show vulnerability and sadness, even though they are usually in beautifully decorated interiors. Both the images and the titles imply a need to act before God, to maintain a pre-established and decorous image, thus controlling the way in which the women are perceived.
