Catch the Hero
08 January 2022 -  14 January 2022

The search for myself took place at the turn of the Soviet era in a small provincial Ukrainian city, so my consciousness was formed in a total conflict of visual change of epochs. This project reflects on the theme of layering different ideals and their loss, playing with stamped images of the past that have lost their utopian meanings.

This is a game of trying on the images of the heroes of the times of my growing up to present myself today as the ideal character that I dreamed of as a child. This is a post-true story of an inner hero who tries to find himself between the tinsel of the past and modern life, full of the absurdity of abandoning history and substituting values.
